I moved to Christiansburg (Blacksburg-adjacent) a few months ago, but I am no longer single so I don't really know if there is any non-college social life here. If you are at an office or shared network, you can ask the network administrator to run a scan across the network looking for misconfigured or infected devices.

I'm under the impression that most singles over 30 in the area have been married.

But then again, quality is more important than quantity and I found what I was looking for here after having no luck in the romance dept up there. There are two very active Meetup groups in Roanoke: the Roanoke Outdoor and Social Club and the Five O'Clock Club.

It may also depend on your frame of reference, as I moved to Roanoke from Northern Virgnia which is bountiful with singles.
